The Minnesota Timberwolves' strong start to the 2023-24 season has been reflected in the NBA 2K24 ratings update, with Anthony Edwards emerging as the team's highest-rated player.
Edwards, who is entering his third season with the Timberwolves, has been impressive early on, averaging 25.3 points and 6.3 rebounds per game. His NBA 2K24 rating has jumped from 85 overall to 87 overall, making him the highest-rated Timberwolves player in the game.
Karl-Anthony Towns, the Timberwolves' All-Star center, is the team's second-highest rated player with an 86 overall rating. D'Angelo Russell, acquired in a trade with the Lakers in the offseason, is rated at 83 overall.
In addition to Edwards' strong start, Brandon Williams has also been a key contributor for the Timberwolves. The 6-foot-6 guard from Arizona totaled 24 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists in the Timberwolves' 102-88 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans in the NBA 2K24 Summer League on Friday.
The Timberwolves' overall team rating in NBA 2K24 has also improved to 78 overall, up from 76 overall at the start of the season. The team's offensive rating is now 80, while its defensive rating is 76.
